SBDM Training Registration

Below please find information related to summer SBDM trainings Molly Sullivan will be conducting for new and experienced council members. Please contact Molly (502-852-1645) if you would like to schedule an experienced member training in your district and have at least 20 participants who will attend.

Topics for experienced trainings are: Parent Involvement, Parent Engagement, Keys for Proficient Councils, Teamwork for Results, Research, Instruction and Action and Planning for Achievement.

SBDM Fee Schedule

Experienced Council Member Training: Parent Involvement: September 18th (OVEC Conference Room, Two sessions: 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM)

Registration deadline is September 16th.

New Council Members:

$50/person - New member 6 hr Trainings held at OVEC

$450 per School - New member 6 hr training held in district---District Maximum payment is $1800

Experienced Council Members:

$50/person - Experienced member 3 hr Trainings held at OVEC

$300 per School - Experienced member 3 hr training held in district---District Maximum payment is $1800.00

OVEC Cancellation and No-Show Policy
for Professional Development or Training Events

Participants who pre-register for an OVEC sponsored professional development event (workshop, seminar, conference, or other training event) that has an advertised cost tied to the event, OVEC will charge the participant’s school or district a fee for late cancellations or failing to attend the event without advanced cancellation.  The fees OVEC will charge the member district or school are as follows:

Cancellation Fees:

  • 25% of the cost ($25 minimum charge) of the PD or training if cancellation occurs 11 days or more in advance of the event
  • 50% of the cost ($25 minimum charge) of the PD or training if cancellation occurs within 10 days of the even
  • 75% of the cost ($25 minimum charge) of the PD or training if cancellation occurs within 3 days of the event

No-Show Fee:

  • A charge of 100% of the cost of the PD or training ($25 minimum fee) if the participant fails to attend the event and has not cancelled prior to the date of the event.
